Music icons and the bands, songs and moments that made them.
The Voice Files tells the stories of the music icons who changed what the world listens to: the bands, the songs and the moments that made them.
The first file follows The Beatles, four kids from Liverpool: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. With manager Brian Epstein and producer George Martin, they went from being turned down by a record company in 1962 to Beatlemania and an audience of an estimated 73 million Americans on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, and on to Sgt. Pepper, the White Album and Abbey Road.
Next up is Rihanna, from Barbados to global stardom. New files are added on the YouTube channel.
